Made for Estonian

Learn every word with its principal parts: genitive and partitive for nouns, and the four key verb forms. Flaca suggests forms and gradation hints as you add words, and a letter bar puts õ, ä, ö, ü, š and ž one tap away.

Spaced repetition that adapts

Reviews are scheduled with FSRS, the modern open algorithm. Choose how much you want to remember, cap new words and reviews per day, and Flaca plans the rest.

Practice that builds up

A word earns its way from recognising it, to recalling it, to filling a gap in a sentence, recalling its forms and spelling it from memory. Typed answers forgive small slips, like a missing accent.

Optional on-device AI

On devices with Apple Intelligence, Flaca can draft a card for you: translations, forms, an example sentence and a memory hook. It runs on your device, and every suggestion is yours to edit.

Honest progress

See the words you know, your streak, time studied and accuracy, plus a forecast of upcoming reviews. Miss a day and your streak simply starts again. No guilt trips.

Private by design

No account and no tracking. Your words sync through your own iCloud, so they come back when you reinstall or switch devices. Read the privacy policy.

Support

Do I need an account?
No. To keep your words safe if you lose or replace your device, sign in to iCloud in the Settings app. Without iCloud, deleting Flaca also deletes your words.
Why are some practice modes missing?
Harder modes unlock on their own once a word is solid at the easier ones, so you're never asked to spell a word you can barely recognise. You can switch modes on or off under Settings → Practice modes.
Why do Estonian words sound Finnish?
Apple doesn't provide an Estonian voice, so Flaca uses the Finnish one, the closest match. If no Finnish voice is installed, you can download one in the Settings app under Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices.
Why don't I see the AI buttons?
They need a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with it turned on. Settings → Assistant in Flaca shows whether it's available. Everything else works without it.
How do I start over?
Settings → Data has "Reset all progress", which keeps your words but clears their review history, and "Delete all words".
